Now on our 5th visit ,after lookin for butter chicken on our first time we realised its vegetarian food , its so nice really amazing food and Viraj whos served us a couple times is fantastic his customer service is the best for any restaurant
Im writing this as an open minded multicultural Caucasian… first of all we were told (in a very polite way) that alcohol was not permitted, and we could not open the bottle of wine we brought with us. We didnt realise it was vegetarian until we searched through the menu to realise there were no meat or seafood dishes. The staff were friendly, and almost too attentive… we were probably asked 5-6 times how our meals were. The food was tasty, and large large servings. Its an ok place to go for something to eat, there was nothing wrong with the place, but it didnt have any wow factor for us.
Really beautiful and delicious vegetarian food. One of the best ive ever had. The Shahi Paneer curry is a must.. i couldnt get enough. Service was really friendly and quick, and the owner was great to talk to. Ill definitely be going back again and exploring more on their menu. Im a big meat eater, but having their vegetarian dishes didn’t make me miss it at all.
Dont ask me if this place is genuine or authentic. I have no idea, but nor do I care. I enjoyed a late dinner here after work on the way home. The service was very friendly (but direct) and efficient, and the food arrived quickly and was very tasty.
Ok experience, food is ok but the service is crap. The waiting staff hounds you while you are eating so you finish quickly and they can get another set of customers. While this place started out great the service has detoriated over the period.
It would be easier to say read Passionate Foodies review! I agreed with what he said, the Ras Malai was what I was most looking forward too as I find it hard to find. But it wasn’t what I was use too. It should melt in your mouth and be more of a oval shape The mains was nice but the palak paneer was a little too sweet Service was friendly and accommodating and I do like the indoor/outdoor ambience here Seems be very popular even at lunch time
In fact finding mission today withSydneyguyrojoeto find out the reason why this place is so popular lately. We think we know why.Ordered Pani Puri for Entree. Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala and Har Din Kuchh Naya for Wednesday which is Rajma Roti and Rice. Roj also ordered Garlic Naan. For desert we ordered Ras Malai and Kulfi Falooda. Roj ordered Mango Lassi. The Pani Puri is perfect, not too oily, crispy, the condiments are perfectly calibrated. Can’t fail this one. The Palak Paneer is a bit on the sweet side otherwise it would be really nice. The Paneer Butter Masala is another winner IMHO as the Handmade cottage cheese cube which is already special by itself was well complimented by the spice, capsicum and cream. The Rajma is okay but there is nothing to write home about IMHO. BTW the roti and the naan is quite good. While we are wowed by the Entree and Mains, we are not as impressed with the dessert. For Kulfi Falooda which I think should be renamed to Pista Falooda Kulfi, I really enjoyed the presence of Pistachio and the Kulfi, however the Falooda is a bit of a let down and the creaminess is not quite right. IMHO there is room for improvement in terms of the size and portion of the Falooda and the creaminess otherwise can’t complain about the level of sweetness. There are two pices of Ras Malai which is good however this dish taste more like Gulab Jamun in Milky syrup which is not quite what I have imagined.Must add that the service is really good as the food come out reasonably quickly and the wait staffs are attentive.
