A hidden gem! This cafe is now my go to when Im in the area. I was very surprised when I stumbled upon Two By Four. It isnt your typical cafe – it is quite small and situated inside what appears to be a development centre. It doesnt try too hard with rustic decor and an elaborate menu – it simply does the basics right! Very competitive pricing for cafe food. Highlights were the BAE and the Granola. The coffee here is one of the better spots in the west (Double Roasters – Marrickville). Definitely coming back!
Located inside the Fairwater Boulevard complex, this newly opened Cafe is a hidden gem worth discovering. Overlooking a beautiful lake is definitely a nice bonus. The chai latte is good, coffee is amazing (from Double Roasters) and all dishes are well-priced.What we had:Beef Burger: thick beef patty, bacon, sliced beetroot, lettuce, onion, tomato and tasty cheese! Its quite tasty and the combination of Bbq sauce and aioli is just perfect.Brekkie plate: generously portioned, every element was cooked perfectly. French toast: beautifully plated, I love the thick and buttery bread.. its so indulgent. And the mascarpone is yum.Overall, we had an awesome dining experience there. This venue has lots of potential for the future!
Ventured out west to meet a friend so decided to meet him at this newly opened cafe from the folks at Weston eatery. its a little cafe located at the back side of the sales centre at fairwater boulevarde which is basically a new residential development area. Since its a very new cafe, their menu is short and sweet. hopefully they will be bringing full-fledged menu in coming days. i tried chorizo and eggs on toast which was very tasty. coffee has been sourced from Double roasters Marrickville. Zaw made me a nice flat white and a cappuccino for my friend. Will be re-visiting the boys soon!!
