Very good and relatively authentic (I’m Chinese so should know) yum cha with great ambience. It was also not too expensive either given the great ambience. What sets this place apart from nearby yum chas is that it has pretty good service. Never underestimate this aspect.
Imperial? More like impossible. As in, impossible to enjoy this place. Worst yum Cha ever. Don’t bother with this place and its terrible service, and food.
Not the greatest but most definitely no where close to the worst Chinese cuisine I’ve eaten!Ordered takeaway, which was amazingly fast (10 min pick up), hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. The beef and vegetables were beautiful and tender, Imperial Chicken crispy and not too over battered, fried rice was simple and cooked well.If you are expecting authentic Chinese you may be a little disappointed, as most dishes are targeted toward the Ozzie palate. Will have to give their daily yum Cha a go soon!
Very disappointed in takeaway I ordered. A friend told me not y5o order as she wasn’t impressed with her experience and I should have listened. Ordered what was a fancy name for one piece of prawn toast which cost me $8.50!!!. Other 2 dishes i ordered was terribly bland and about half onion.
Always come here for a great chinese meal! Usually come on Monday nights, hence it’s rarely busy. Food is a little bit on the pricey size, but it comes with great serving sizes and the staff are always friendly, albeit sometimes hard to understand. The ambiance is lovely and the temperature inside is always at a comfortable level. Would definitely recommend the peking shredded beef as a favourite dish
The restaurant has a nice large dining room and the service is friendly enough, but I found the food during dinner to be quite bland, and also expensive for what was received. I have been for Yum Cha during the day though, and found it enjoyable.
