Beautiful hidden setting.Heard about this place through a recommendation so made a last minute booking. We were pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful location!The restaurant is on the bottom half of a bigger function place.We were seated and taken care of by a wonderful knowledgeable waiter. The menu is designed for sharing. Things were brought out as they were ready, which was simply perfect for the two of us dining. The tzatziki was amazing thick and yum, served with beautiful home made bread. The wood roasted chilli we ordered actually accompanied the dip perfect….So Smokey and yum. The prawns were juicy, served in shell and simply with rock salt and a wedge of lemon. Nothing could have made these more perfect.The highlight here was the 8hour roast lamb. So succulent and fall off the bone, with an amazing red wine sauce. Hubbie says its the best he has ever tasted!The service and food makes this place a definite to visit. The location is gorgeous too. Not many diners for a Saturday night, but with such great food, the word about this place needs to get out quickly. Thanks and look forward to coming back with friends.
Fantastic new resturant, meditarianian all the way. We had the banquet meal for a 55th birthday. It felt like we were sharing fine dining plates of food. Soft delicious well cooked meats, whole fish. Even the kids meals are out of this world tuna steaks and juicy chicken shaslicks with brocolini and hand cut hot chips. Very kid friendly, took every effort to prise the twins away from the kids play kitchen within the baby friendly nappy change room. If all else fails and kids are too roudy- there is a fantastic open grassy space right outside. This place used to be an old run down bowling club. The new facade, open white and blue themed decor brings a nice new fresh feel Kyle bay.
