When I’m in the Blue Mountains I always like to get a pie at The Bakehouse on Wentworth. The best pies in The Blue Mountains. Thank goodness they have outlets in Leura, Springwood and Glenbrook. This is where the production kitchen is situated and this unassuming little bakery pumps out not only amazing gourmet pies but artisan breads and all sorts of cakes, slices and muffins too. The only thing about this place is it is super busy not all flavours can be available hot. You can buy them cold and take them home. Also seating is limited, so be prepared. 4.5/5
Made a special trip in to buy a cake for my mother who is here on holidays from Perth. Got there just after 7 am (with the sign saying open at 7 am) told by a very rude girl to come back at 8 am – If you don’t open at times indicated on the net or the door – better change them. And no need to be rude to customers – I wasn’t rude or disrespectful to you – So expect same polite service. BAD SERVICE – RUDE STAFF
