Kinda worth it just for the over the top decor. Its exactly what you’d expect from a 1970s Cantonese chinese restaurant, very generous mountain of prawn chips to start, really good sweet n sour pork and even having to ask for chopsticks twice. Sadly the fried ice cream was a dissapointment. Overall just ok but, yes I’d probably go back if I was in the area.
Horrible 90s style ‘Chinese’. The 30% rating is accurate. I haven’t been in such a place since the 90s when people hadn’t discovered REAL Chinese food yet. The chicken used in all dishes is that super soft super fake stuff. Everything was covered in foul tasting sauce or incredibly oily. They charged ludicrous prices ($4.50 for soft drink, 50c to use Eftpos no matter what you spent, $14 for a plate of noodles?? surcharge for sundays and publoc hols) and didn’t even have napkins or tablecloths just horrid plastic! Can’t even say the service was better than the norm despite the Aussie waitress. My god don’t bother giving your money to such a place!
