Once Bondis local hardware store, this relaxed, high-tabled restaurant nails the share menu (and hardware theme). Order chargrilled corn, kingfish ceviche tacos and beef cheek and share the lot. Or dont. eatplaylovetravel.com.au

My SIL and I werent too hungry so we shared four small dishes. We tried their crab cakes with green chilli aioli, grilled Haloumi which was beautifully presented, tuna tartare with charred corn and endive salad with Gorgonzola, pear and walnuts. I enjoyed all of themespecially the tuna tartare which had a good chilli kick and I liked the squid ink cracker that came with the dish.Friendly staff and nice atmosphere thats kid friendly so I can bring my son and husband next time to try different dishes.

Great food. We dropped in for some small bites when we were in Bondi; fish tacos, prawn saganaki and chargrilled corn. Delicious food, saganaki was divine. Great fitout and service was excellent.

Great ambience in the street within a street style. Best breakfast yet experienced in Bondi – finally a spot that gets the size of the serving right – not too little and not too much

Tools down guys! Brunch is on! Love the fact that until 2011 Bondi Hardware was exactly just that. Must say I am relieved to be down here these days sorting through the lunch menu rather than trying to decide on paint colours and which brushes to buy! The atmosphere is young, vibrant and buzzy and the massive skylight, rustic, chic interiors and inclusion of hanging greenery makes this place one where you want to stay a while! Service is charming, informative and spot on! Started with cocktails…a raspberry mule and bottles of Rose Spritzer Ice Tropez! Food shared: Ham pizza, harissa lamb pizza, crispy chicken wings, braised beef short ribs, pork belly with an apple puree and slaw salad, lamb salad w hummus, feta and Israeli couscous. All dishes were tasty and well seasoned! A really fun place to come any time of the day or night!

Food, ambience and music (Bob Marley was on) was absolutely amazing, although we waited awhile for the food to be served. There was 11 of us and we had the $32/person banquet. Favs of the day was the BBQ Chicken & Brussel sprouts and the sirloin with chimichurri

Really nice atmosphere, loving the look. The food was lovely. The sweet potato chips were really nice and came out quickly. I really enjoyed the tuna poke bowl, very different to other places I’ve been. My partner had the pepperoni pizza and thought it was average compared to other places but nonetheless we enjoyed our time there.
