Absolutely the best burgers I’ve ever had, trippin zeahorse and Johnny collide both! Only the burgers papi chulo in manly knocks out comes close.

So disappointing! Have wanted to come here for agess. Burger was tasteless. Trippin Zeahourse had all the right ingredients, but I was eating it thinking this tastes like nothing? No onion, pickle, mustard, meat, cheese? Just tastes like fried butter. fries were way over salted. Def not the best burger in Aus.

I’ve been here a few times and have a mixed review1st time i visited: food came out cold, sent it back, they said it would be 10mins, 25mins minutes later it finally came and was still cold2nd time : Decent size . Flavour is okay, better than Milky Lane in Bondi .Pricey as you have to pay $15+ – $21 for a burger then add another $6 for chips.Average joint. Generally very busy. You’re able to write on the walls and it has a good vibe.

I’d attempted to visit once or twice before and with all the hype of his new second store opening I couldn’t leave bondi without going into @bonditonysburgerjoint this time!Double Trippin Zeehorse: 2x grass fed beef patties, double american cheese, free range bacon, claudias tomato relish, Bonditonys seeded mustard aioli Tbh – I didn’t like the the bun. Putting it out there. The beef/cheese/bacon/mustard aioli was top notch. Really punching. Crispy bacon, well melted cheese. Pink in the middle beef. Change your buns and I’ll be won over mate. Also the outdoor seating whilst cool was super awkward for eating burgs

If you like really, really greasy and salty food, this is your place. The meals are a great size, and the wings are good but unfortunately I can’t say anything good about the burgers. The beef one was a salty/greasy mess and the chicken one (friend’s order) was burnt and dry. Both couldn’t finish our food.

Sun, beach and burgers; a winning formula, especially when the burgers are at Bonditony’s.With big smiles and upbeat service, I was already won over before I’d even taken a bite. When we visited, the place was pumping but the staff are friendly and efficient so it wasn’t long before we were seated and served.Choose from traditional beef burgers to chicken and fish, with a side of fries included with your burger. I enjoyed the Lost Valentino, crispy, crumbed fish with crunchy cucumber and the most delicious lemon dill mayo. The food and service are great, and then there are the details, like the cacti table centrepieces with their prickly spines removed so you don’t prick yourself as you reach over for the sauce.Highly recommended.

Bonditony’s Burger Joint is probably the best burger joint at Bondi Beach…until BL Burgers rolls around later this month that is. Prior to this visit I’ve been here once before for dinner and had a pretty average burger in the Trippin Zeahorse, but I decided to go again during lunch after a few friends raved about it. This time I opted for the Classic Cog.Double beef, tasty cheese, lettuce, felix’s bbq chutney, claudia’s tomato relishThe defining feature for the burgers here are the buns from Nelson Road Tuckshop Bakery. They’re brioche buns which I’m not a big fan of, but the twist here is they butter and toast the buns, so it’s supremely rich and it that masks the sweetness of a typical brioche bun so I enjoyed it. The grass fed beef here is decent, it was cooked medium and juicy enough though slightly underseasoned but way better than my first experience here where the beef was overcooked and very underseasoned. The toppings are simple and the sauces aren’t bad, but a little more texture would have helped with pickles or a tomato. Bonditony’s Burger Joint serves a decent burger, but mostly during lunch service.Beef: 4.0Bun: 4.1Toppings: 3.8Overall: 3.97/5 theburgerhand.com
