Went here with my mom for lunch and the butter chicken was amazing. Very nice food as i have tried some indian restaurants in the eastern suburbs and this one is my favorite. The peshuari nan and the mango lassi are the best!! 🙂

I’m a massive Indian foodie and it is pretty goodPros- good quality ingredients- good location- Flavour is pretty westernized but depending on what you get tastes pretty good- Colourful restaurant- Serves alcoholCons- had better indian before-small bowls

The Indian restaurant was the second option for lunch today. It turned out to be good one. A small and narrow restaurant that you may easily miss. They have a beautiful menu including vegetarian and non-vegetarian. All curries dishes are good. Highly recommended!!

The restaurant looks inviting, good service from the handsome Caucasian man! Food was hit and miss. We ordered the beef vindaloo and eggplant curry. The vindaloo was too red and the taste was average. The eggplant curry was great though!

O-M-G the palak paneer is the best I’ve ever had. And the Namaste chicken curry is a total winner too. Both were aromatic and complex with a depth I expect but often don’t experience in ordinary Indian restaurants. There’s lots more on the menu I’d like to try.The dahl was pretty so-so and while my friend loved the eggplant with potato (which I usually adore) I found it bland and greasy. This place really only looses points for the frightful decor … they would be bursting with customers if it weren’t so awful … or if it were at the so-bad-it’s-good end of tacky. But it’s not. It’s just jarring and frumpy in the way only poorly executed sincere intention can be … such a pity. But the food is worth it! Go for the food. At least your order will always arrive quickly (though they were doing a lot of takeaway)

Half a chicken that you couldn’t even call a quarter chicken. Very rude response when I voiced this, saying the suppliers gave small chickens so ‘deal with it’ Would not recommend for the quality, size of portions or rude service.
