Raw Bar has been in Bondi since I can remember, and there is a good reason for it. Sashimi is ridiculously good – I dare anyone to find fresher. Sushi is all good and if you’refeeling adventurous trythe roasted eggplant with miso, it’s buttery umami deliciousness. Small and cosy in the cooler months and outdoors seating for the summer. It’s perfect for small groups, dates or a quick bite. Service is efficient and warm… Thanks Ondi!

I came here today with my friend for dinner. It started great. But you can sense from the start that the staff is not genuinely friendly. We arrived around 6:15 pm, so it was not even crowded for them to show us so much attitude. If I was rating the food only, I would have given 4 stars easily. But we dine out and pay for more than the food’s worth for the whole experience, don’t we? When came the time to pay the bill, I noticed a 1.5% surcharge which was not justified. We were paying by cash. The waitress pretended that it was added by the machine automatically and that she would deduct it afterwards. So I paid her more than the real total, expecting her to give me back my change. But she did not. When I asked for it, she was clearly not pleased. She gave me the change by slamming it onto the table. We left, I looked at her to say thank you and she did not look at me to reply. So, for this kind of rudeness and dishonesty, I give the overall mark of 2. If I was rating the service only, I would have given a zero. This is not professional at all. I know what I am talking about as my family owns a restaurant for more than 20 years now.
Well presented fresh clean flavours and friendly service made this dining experience all the memorable!Definitely going back, and highly recommended!!
Sashimi at its finest, after a long costal walk Raw Bar is the perfect restaurant to relax and watch the sun set along Bondi Beach . Everything served was fresh and delicious. We loved the thoughts put into each dish. And let’s talk about how thick and juicy the sashimi pieces were. We were very impressed with the fried scallop sushi and the size of the scallop in each individual roll. The staff were great and helpful in suggesting dishes especially to indecisive people like us
Great from front to back. Made to feel genuinely welcome on entering the venue. Our waitress was lovely and attentive and paid special attention to my son by providing him with a suitable cup and kids chop sticks. Our food was fast, flavoursome and the sashimi was butter soft and expertly prepared. Great service, without being intrusive. There is a reason this place has been here so long
