I loved the place, the staff and the food, made me forget Im in a Sydney for a short while as all of the staff members are Italian and they speak their language all the time. Major recommendations for Bondi Beach dining.I had what the Pizza Yollo recommended and everything was delicious. #thumbsup
Even before you step through the doors you can smell the aroma of freshly made pizza. As soon as you enter, theres the large woodfired pizza oven standing proud in this chic, nautical themed restaurant. Theres a quirky mural along one wall and pops of greenery contributing to an altogether modern dining space. The pizzas are made in the traditional Italian style with a soft crust; we ordered a half metre pizza and were offered the option of two different toppings and went with the Pizza Pesce (calamari, vongole, mussels and prawns) and Capriciossa (fior di latte, smoked leg ham, mushroom, olives and artichoke), as well as a Margherita pizza and spaghetti pomodoro for the kids. For something different, check out the blue pannacotta for dessert!
I actually thought the food here was amazing! Had the pizza with porcini mushrooms and the bufala. It was also cheaper than other woodfire pizzas around Bondi. Only drawback was the service could have been a bit better. We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 entrees and they came all at once which was a bit awkward to fit on the table.
Divine good with great mix of tasty starters like guanciale wrapped prawns, good selections of seafood based pasta and risotto and of course pizza!
