Perfect, very satisfying dining experience.The decor is stylish, clean, simple and warm, and we loved the view onto Bondi beach.The service is prompt, attentive and accommodating, just as it should be. There’s no need to manage the waiters here!The food (seaweed salad, tempura prawn, agadashi tofu, vegie roll) was fresh, perfectly cooked, well seasoned and very flavoursome; and the plum wine was delicious.The only minor quibble was the time it took between dishes, but the kitchen was understandably very busy (and impressively calm at the same time)
great food but they serve deliverado orders before seated diners, a disgrace, waited nearly two hours to get the main and then it was wrong, beware any place with scooters parked out front!!!
I have been here a few times. Omg the sizzling wagyu beef melts in your mouth. I particularly love cooking my own food. You also cant go past the green tea icecream. Mmm looking forward to my next visit. Make sure you leave enough time to find parking-bondi is shocking!
Love going to Soy, as it’s easy to book a table, has a variety of dishes to choose from and the food is always good. The portions are massive and absolutely love the chicken teriyaki.
Worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. We were completely ignored the whole time we were here, and were not even given water. It’s a continual battle trying to get the waiters attention. On top of this, food service is also incredibly slow. We probably waited half an hour for our first dish to arrive. Will not be returning and would not recommend. The soy sauce was extremely salty and ruined the sushi rolls.
Tasty Japanese in great spot. Are here on a hot December night with view to water. Quality wagyu. Yummy seared tuna. Portion sizes generous in my opinion. Delicious dinner and smiling service.
Had an absolutely delicious dinner here on our holiday. We got three mains and two starters between us and I was so impressed with the prices. Would definitely recommend!
