Wanted to try the bento box but figured it wouldn’t do me any good with the rushing lunch break. The ramen was not ideal for takeaway either, so I went straight to the chicken teriyaki with rice. The chicken had a tough and dry texture. The teriyaki sauce tasted more like honey & soy flavor. Rice was a bit undercooked. The reason I didn’t order any sushi roll was that of the big rice portion. Rice paper rolls? No. Better stick to seaweed roll than fusion Japanese food. It was alright. Cheap and quick meal.

Great for a shopping centre sushi outlet. I had the black rice, fresh salmon and avocado box. My salmon was tender and fresh, rice held together well. In my experience the portion was generous and tasty. I would revisit. The rice paper rolls are a good idea, just personally wasn’t a fan of the vegetable options in them. I think made to order rice paper rolls would be much more popular.

A good place for that quick takeaway sushi especially because they have pretty good brown rice rolls as well. Lately I’ve tried their hot food items such as the chicken teriyaki sticks and the chilli chicken both of which are pretty good and flavoursome.

Sushi connection is in a great spot to grab yourself something to eat on the way out as it’s near Coles on the ground floor of the Westfield. They have a selection of pre made sushi and sashimi platters however we went for the large sushi rolls. The rolls were filling and there were two brown rice options available which I love. Overall a good place to grab some sushi to take away when in the junction.

Went here for an afternoon snack. They have snack boxes of sushi and sashimi, dumplings, edamame and sushi rolls. I got a small box of sushi; tuna and cucumber which was cheap as it was around 5 pm. The sushi rolls themselves looked like they’d been there all day so I wouldn’t touch those. Containers were ok as they’re closed off to air I guess. Very cheap and probably better during the day. aroundtheclockfoodie.com

I always walk past this shop when I park my car in Westfield but yesterday was the first time I decided to grab some for lunch. I tried their salmon and avocado with black/purple rice and a chicken rice paper roll.Rice paper roll was hard and didn’t taste fresh but their sushi wasn’t bad. I think I have to come back and try a few more of their sushi variety.

Always grab my sushi from here when I’m shopping in the junction. Fresh sushi and fast service. Avocado and salmon with brown rice is my favourite! Pity about the price…
