Went to David Jones restaurant and ordered a crab spaghetti just to find out that The crab is crap!!. The taste was so awful and it was too dry too. It doesnt worth it and wont go back there.
Very impressed with the revamped food hall at DJs and the new restaurant crafted by Neil Perry. The menu has two broad themes of asian and grill. We had the handmade beef noodles from the former, and minute steak with chips and steak sandwich from the latter sections. Everything was delicious, very refined and reasonably priced. The noodles were definitely the highlight for me and an absolute bargain at $15, with massive chunks of beef, lots of veges and deliciously uneven noodles (how you know theyre really handmade!) Recommend for a nice, quiet meal away from the crowds at Bondi Junction.
I had a very average experience here. Staff were nice but not overly friendly. I had a higher expectation on the food and even thought there werent too many people there it took a while for the food to come out. I ordered the chickpea salad, I was expecting something different to what came out, flavour was nice. The fritters were amazing, and the avocado and tuna sandwich was great too. I probably would not be back but wouldnt say I had a bad experience at all
