I am looking for a bakery for Sunday lunch. I Found this one in bondi. The owner was working for pie face for 9 years. I ordered a lamb sausage roll, pull beef pie, coffee and vanilla slice. To be honest, the foods are not impressive. The coffee is good. However, It is good to try out a new place.
The cakes and sweets here are just amazing!Got a box of five assorted pieces and loved every single one.The coffee was also really good. The prices are really good and the service was really good as well – all of the workers were really polite.Would definitely recommend this place.
I wanted to go here as the space previous was a little eclair shop. This time it’s been renovated and a new business called Francois. The owner previously had a pie shop in Rose Bay and has now opened a French cafe / Patissiere. it has a huge range of breads (baked in store) including some incredible looking brioche. There’s also sweet treats, cakes, eclairs and slices. I got the apricot slice which was nice, crisp pastry, fresh glazed apricots and a great snack. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
My Cherry Danish ($4.50) was glistening with cherries and had a nice pastry. The Paris Brest ($6.95) filled with lots of cream. The Tarte au Citron ($6.50) which tempted me on their instagram was very nice. The Strawberry Tarte ($6.95) topped with a good amount of fresh strawberries was very yummy. There was a bit of a wait for my take away Cappuccino ($3.50) using Mutch & Moore coffee with a barista under pressure but hopefully will be able to turnaround coffees quicker in the future. The flavour and smoothness was quite nice and enjoyable. simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com
