Went for lunch with obe of my girlfriends and it was very nice. Food was nice and warm and really tasty 🙂 worth the price and the place is very confy. Happy with the meal 🙂
Laurie’s Vegetarian is an inviting restaurant/take away shop selling vegan and vegetarian food on Bondi road. They sell comfort foods such as Burmese noodles, lasagne, roast veggies, desserts and lentil hotpot. There are limited seats within the restaurant so it can get crowded if you arrive during a busy time but otherwise most people order the food to go. In terms of food, I ordered the lasagne (which I thought was vegan, since nowadays almost anything can be made vegan) which had cheese on top, although it was to die for, the unclear vegan/vegetarian labeling of the dish names caused confusion. I also got the roast veggies which was insanely good, I don’t know how they do it, I wish I could get the recipe and make it at home! All in all, I’ll be back to try the vegan chocolate cake, burmese noodles, the korma, basically all the vegan things on offer. This place is definitely one of my favourites now.
