Ordered lucky fried rice, lemongrass beef, thai papaya salad and chicken laksa. Rice was nice but probably would have preferred more veg since we asked for vegetarian. Lemongrass beef was okay. Chicken laksa was very creamy and filling. Papaya salad was very nice, my fav of the dishes. Probably wouldn’t order the lemongrass beef again. Service was good.
I think Lucky Thai and Lao hold the cheapest prices amongst the many Thai places I’ve been. The food is good however portions are a little small, I guess you get what you pay for? Don’t forget to order the Thai milk tea!
Service was quick didn’t have to wait long. Only complaint is that there was too much herbs used as a filler for the Larb salad. Dipping sauce for the sausages below averagePrawns were over cooked in the Tom Yum soup.
I ordered food at 6pm for delivery. 7pm came around and the food hadn’t arrived yet so I called to enquire. They said that my food had been sitting there and they were waiting for the delivery driver to get there and that it would be more convenient for them if we picked it up. I advised that I wasn’t happy with the service and wasn’t able to pick it up and asked how much longer it would take. They said another half hour but if I picked it up they would give me 10% off. I said that if I was to pick it up I would want the food re-cooked because the food had been sitting there upwards of a half hour. They said there is nothing they can do. I cancelled my order and they said if I picked it up they’d give me 50% off. I still cancelled. I have been ordering there for 3 years and have been a loyal customer. They have been late for delivery before but I shouldn’t have to wait an hour and a half for food. Will never order there again, order from Kaffir Lime Thai and Laos, Cabramatta West for free delivery and considerably less waiting time.
Ordered a few take away dishes which were ready within 15 minutes. We ordered the prawn green curry and chicken red curry which were both great. They’ve used fresh veggies in both dishes and they had a good balance of flavours. We also ordered the salt and pepper squid which was tasty but very tough and chewy. The beef in oyster sauce wasn’t the best dish. The beef tasted gamey and was rubbery in texture – not sure how fresh that was or whether I’ll order that again.
Hands down my favourite Thai place EVER. I order here regularly and the food is always on point.I have travelled to Thailand and the food here is on parr if not better.Fav dishes are the Yellow Curry, Chilli Basil & Cashew Nut (I get all three with chicken). Their spring rolls are really yummy too! This place is always busy but service is quick and takeaway is available.
Definitely deserves a 5/5 for customer service and the amazing Thai food. One of the best Ive eaten at in the Fairfield area. I recommend the ox tongue as a side dish! It has amazing flavor!!
