We ordered tom yum with prawn and pad ke mao today. Both dishes had a lot of flavour and tasted fresh. I was glad to find a good thai restaurant in local area. I will come back for more.
Would not recommend..!! Appalling service..!!Thought we would try this place for the first time, Ordered over the phone, left my name and number, went to pick up our order 20minutes later and got told they had none left.. Nobody called us to tell us, they just made us waste our time driving there to tell us. Was not even given an apology.. NEVER AGAIN..!!
The food and service here is absolutely amazing! Every dish is succulent and filled with so much flavour and also the meat is extremely tender. Although the portion is a bit small for how much it is worth, I would come here again.
Food was okay. Sriracha Thai Street Food serves a variety of authentic Thai dishes. They are located at Bonnyrigg within the same precinct as Aldi, KFC and Pizza Hut next to Bonnyrigg High School.For lunch, we ordered Pad Kee Mao with pork, sticky rice and fried chicken wings. We initially ordered sticky rice with som tom and chicken wings but they didn’t have som tom (paw paw salad) so we had to order the sticky rice and chicken wings separately.The serving size for the Pad Kee Mao was good. It had a good amount of heat from the chilli’s but I found it a bit too sweet for my liking. The noodles and vegetables were cooked just right.The fried chicken wings were served in metal baskets and was crispy on the outside but lacked flavour. It wasn’t juicy either. The sticky rice was cooked well, not soggy. Although it came in it’s traditional straw container, it looked odd that the rice was squashed flat in a clear bag and it didn’t seem like there was a lot of rice either.Verdict: For a cheap lunch, I may be back as they have different daily lunch specials otherwise I will probably stick to my regular places for Thai food.
Greeted by wonderful staff, which immediately sat my friend and I down upon arrival. They have great weekday deals ranging from Pad Thai Mondays, Pad See Ew Tuesdays to Fried Rice Fridays. This place is clean and the atmosphere is soothing and calm. My friend and I got the lunch special and oh my, it was worth our money. For only $6.90, food was hot but most importantly delicious! You could definitely taste the wok hei or breath of the wok in the Pad Thai. Additionally, I liked how the restaurant served the crushed peanuts on the side rather than on top, which allowed me to add them according to preference. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others, who crave Thai food in Bonnyrigg.
Amazing Thai food in my local suburb. The food is always delicious everytime I visit, the staff are friendly and all reasonably priced. Best place you can go to in Bonnyrigg. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.
