Pretty expensive for what you get. Tried a few different items and larger cakes – some were ok but none were mind blowing and didnt taste that fresh. The service was also really inattentive verging on rude (and Im not convinced we were charged correctly). The place is a bit grubby as well. Wouldnt rush back.

Generous servings, Fresh food that tastes good. We’re driving by and stopped there for the first time. A great place to eat. Tried the chocolate eclair as well and it was great. I recommend this place 🙂

The Croquembouche Patisserie in Banksmeadow is a caf Bakery with a couple of tables if you want to sit in for a coffee and a cake. The pastries and cakes are very good. I particularly like the croissants and tarts, which remind me of France. Although a little pricey it is one of my go to places if I am after a cake. The ladies working there are friendly and welcoming. On this occasion I popped in for a quick lunch and grabbed a roast veggie tart and a coffee. The tart, although it was re-heated in the microwave was nice. With plenty of goats and vegetables. Worth visiting for their cakes and pastries aroundtheclockfoodie.com

So glad to have discovered this gem. I ordered the dark chocolate ‘Croquembouche Tart’ for a birthday cake, and boy did it deliver! It was rich, indulgent, high-quality chocolate, beautifully decorated with edible white/dark chocolate flowers and lots and lots of profiteroles. Guests loved it and kept eating beyond being very full. Yum! Will be back next time – perhaps this time in person to try out some smaller pastries in the store. 🙂

Came in for coffee, ordered little lemon tart and a flat white. I have to say neither was impressive. Coffee tasted a little burnt and I don’t think I like the taste of the beans they use. Lemon tart was very sweet, the lemony mousse was wrapped in white chocolate, I was hoping for more zesty but not with so much sugary taste. I guess this is average taste but after seeing few good reviews, was hoping for more delicate flavor. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com

Another fantastic bakery at Orange Grove markets, Croquembouche sell gorgeous pastries and sweet and savory tarts. They also do amazing quiches. They sell out sometimes so if you have something special in mind, it is best to get there early.
