Terrible. I am not a fan of this place, despite the modern and somewhat fresh design. The food is its biggest let down, the chips were soggy probably because someone doesn’t know how to fry. The ambience is try hard and the customer service was tiring and too monochromatic. The Chicken seasoning was the best thing there, but the Chicken itself was as dry as the Sarah. Not my cup of tea.
I have been to Tayta’s a number of times. They do a good Lebanese BBQ. The restaurant is modern, bright and has a few tables if you want to dine in, take away is also an option. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They serve burgers, wraps salads and BBQ meats. I usually go for the half chicken which comes with pickles, a bag of pita and amazing garlic sauce. For $9 it is reasonably priced. The chicken is succulent, it has a nice seasoning which combines well with the charred flavour which comes from the chicken rosting over the hot coals. You can make a number of wraps with the pita, filling them with the chicken, pickles and loading it with the tasty garlic sauce. This is a friendly place with great tasting and reasonably priced Lebanese charcoal chicken. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
I happened to notice this place when I had been to Botany for driving lessons. It’s a Lebanese restaurant, but the feel and ambiance does not look that way. Nevertheless, the interiors are decently done, and they have ample seating. I went for a Falafel wrap, with chips and drink Combo. The wrap was HUGE, and quite tasty as well! The chips were ok, not too good, but the quantity was ample. I actually had to leave behind some! The total cost was $14. Not bad at all, considering the quality and quantity. The service tends to be on the slower side, though. So this may not be an ideal place to dine if you are in a hurry. If I happen to be around the area again, I’ll drop in here!Food – 4/5Ambiance – 4/5Service – 3.5/5Value for money – 4.5/5Overall – 4/5
They have a decent menu. A little bit different to the other food in Botany. Which is good because it’s very repetitive. Decently priced. Only downside is sometimes they are very slow in preparing food. The place only had a few people in there and it took them 15 mins to make up a ‘Max’s Bowl’. Rice and chicken are already prepared. All that had to be done was cook up some onion and chuck it a bowl. Which sucks when your lunch break is only half an hr long and then you need to rush back to work afterwards. Other than that, can’t fault them. Food is fresh and tasty.
Awesome chicken and Lebanese food.
I have eaten chicken all over the world and I believe this is the best charcoal chicken place I have ever eaten at. Unbelievable flavour and soooo juicy. Staff are really friendly too.
Lovely food. Sometimes may take a while but definetely worth the wait. The family pack is a valuable deal and the staff are always friendly!
