Cheap breakfast but not amazing fresh quality. No seasoning on the mushrooms, nothing on them at all. The tomato looked historical and the bacon drenched with oil.Eggs and bread edible and coffee was nice but won’t be back in a hurry. A lot nicer places around to have a decent breakfast.

very cute little place. the ladies are always smiling and they never disappoint with the good old egg. love the crushed avo feta egg dish and their brekkie burger roll. it’s simple but they do it well.

Tasty food and smooth coffee. The staff were still learning to use the register the day I decided to pop in for brunch however, the service was friendly and prompt. Clean cafe with a nice atmosphere. The cake cabinet looked amazing but I was too full to try anything. Would love to return to Babel if I ever I end up back in Brighton.

Came here for breakfast at the recommendation of a friend. Located in the CBD of Brighton. Ordered the eggs Benedict and babel breakfast. Food was pretty standard. Not bad but not amazing. Ordered coffees; would say it’s more suited for those that prefer weak coffees (i prefer strong coffee). Wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but if you happen to be in the area, by all means give it a go 🙂

My favourite new cafe in Brighton Le Sands. Service is genuine & friendly. Great coffee. The breakfast panini are the best! Available with egg, avo and cheese or with bacon, either are delicious. The savoury pies are uniquely shaped and full of flavour. The deserts are to die for

Tower of goodness. Came back to Bay Street after a long break – had never really considered it a foodie strip. This was the end of the second week that Babel has been open. Had the eggs benedict with ham which while not gigantic, was perfectly cooked and comes with haloumi which is a nice touch. They also have substantial offerings in their cabinets – one savoury, one sweet. I got things to take away from both. Their pies aren’t shaped in the usual bakery way but the sheppard’s pie tasted great and the lamb and harissa spring roll had some bite. Not sure who supplies the array of sweets but I got a couple and they too were on the mark.Newspapers, cold water and genuinely friendly service. Hope to see it around for some time to come.
