After some dinner who can resist some ice cream. With the bright lights shining off the Icecreamery is was like it was meant to be. Ordered the cookies and cream (the safe option) which was as expected, but the serving size was quite small…
Been here a few times I was expecting more portion size for the money you pay for it A good selection of ice creams but none blew me away every time I’ve been. My latest taste test was rum and raisin, while good to know it doesn’t have alcohol it doesn’t have the same kick it does at other places
I’ve always had fond memories of coming here with my parents when i was young and from what i recall i really liked the ice-cream here, until tonight. We ordered a watermelon thickshake and a total of 4 scoops of ice-cream in flavours:- Nutella- Ferrero- Coconut- TiramisuThe flavours are yummy upon first taste however the more you eat the less enjoyable they become. The ferrero started tasting somewhat like cheap chocolate halfway through. The watermelon thickshake was absolutely awful, it tasted more like plain milk than watermelon. For the price the ice-cream is mediocre. There are many other places i can go to and get better tasting and better quality ice-cream. As for the thickshake, i’m sure it can’t get any worse no matter where else you go. The only reason i’ve rated this place a 2 instead of a 1 is the service. The guy serving us was really patient and friendly considering we took a long time to decide upon which flavours we wanted to order. Definitely not coming back here in the near future. For the time being, this place is better left as a memory of my childhood.
$5.5 for one scoop for what I consider an average ice cream. One scoop at Messina costs less and the quality is higher. The interior is clean and provides seating. Staff were nice and were helpful in recommending ice creams. They had a Xmas plum pudding flavour which was exciting but unfortunately didn’t taste that great.
Out of date chocolate. Bought a milkshake and what I recieved was a flake inside that was rock hard and moldy. Will not buy from again. $8 for milk and out of date chocolate is not worth it.
Bad service. I requested ice cream in a cup, and they served me half of the spoon of two scoops of ice cream. I asked them if they could also scoop the ice cream properly for me, but they refused. The ice cream is not as great and the quality of the ice cream was very watery. Not recommended.
Very tasty ice cream, staff can be rude but when have lines out door can understand why.. Will return during summer for sure.
