Food 2/2Service 2/2Atmosphere 0.7/1 (rounded down to 0.5)I honestly love this place. Came here for the first time last year for my 20th birthday and even though I haven’t tried a lot of the dishes that they offer the ones I have had were so amazing I even ate the types of food I usually hate *cough* vegetables *cough*. So props to the chef. The service is nice because they aren’t down your throat but they do keep an eye on you and don’t leave you hanging around for long. They all have nice welcoming smiles which is something I personally don’t usually see in restaurants. The price isn’t bad, I think it’s actually reasonably priced for a family business that need to make a living off of this. There are two reasons I took .5 off, the first being I haven’t eaten all of their dishes so I can’t rate those, the other reason being there is no decent on site bathroom, though it’s understandable considering the size of their store.Have been going there frequently since moving to Brighton and will continue to do so, if you want to eat in don’t forget to call and book a table because chances are there won’t be any available if you show up randomly. I also suggest not going alone as I’ve been doing, it can get awkward if you’re alone.

Invited here by my friends who know the owner. Had an awesome experience. Staff were extremely friendly and service was great. We ordered plates and plates of sashimi, with people at other tables staring at us each time we ordered. The staff helped us order so we got the fish boat which had an assortment of nigiri. We also got complimentary matcha icecream because of our connections. Would definitely recommend!

Came for my friends birthday on a busy Saturday night. I felt everything was standard Japanese food you can get anywhere. The only standout was the teriyaki chicken which they added a little chilli too, impressed! That little kick of taste and the way they cooked the chicken made it that much better. Sushi was nice, the okonomiyaki I was expecting something freshly made but it was sushi train stuff. The BBQ squid was ok but at least not that chewy. Prices are reasonable and food came out pretty quick. Was expecting more

Love this place. Friendly service, great Japanese food and great prices. One of brightons highlights! I can only 100% recommend Luck Sushi for lunch or dinner

Came in here for lunch and chose the spicy chicken bento box and the salmon avocado roll. The meal was prepared fresh and was quite nice for what it was. Make sure not to over order as the bento box is quite filling.

Cheap, fresh Japanese food in a small shop in Brighton Le Sands. I ordered the Tempura Chicken Lunch Box, which was good but nothing special. The salmon and avocado sushi roll was the highlight! The staff were friendly and efficient – would return if I was in the area.

Best japanese in the area. Solution needs to be found for takeaway. I’ve scored it down as no menu online plus language limitations resulted in a long but unsuccessful phone conversation that ended in me having to drive to them (in winter) to complete the order. Never again – too hard. peckishbyzoerenee.blogspot.com
