Lovely little cafe on Bay Street in Brighton Le Sands. I love the outdoor seating allowing you to enjoy the sun with your coffee or meal. I had a hot chocolate which was delicious which helped with the cold outside. Staff are friendly and there is no minimum spend too use your credit card and they take AMEX without charging extra!

I like the coffee here and the staff is friendly, I’m not too crazy about the bread they use for sandwiches it’s a bit hard and dried out. The cafe interior is really nice love the colour combinations they’ve used white black and orange/ yellow

Use to come here 3 to 4 times a week when it opened. Yesterday was the last time. The staff dont acknowledge you as you wait to order even if noone else is there. You have to ask for cutlery each time & basic manners seem to be too much hard work. And noone wants to hear loud doof-doof music because you are bored. Turn the bloody thing down so ppl can actually hear each other. Don’t waste your time here. Go to the little hole in the wall Bay expresso up the road who know all about customer service. It’s not rocket science to treat your customers as if they’re actually welcome.

Pretty long wait when there was no one else ordering, then the sandwich which was on the menu as being served on sourdough was given to me on white bread. I over heard the deli staff talking about being out of sourdough though no one asked if white bread was okay. I paid $4.50 extra for a few pieces of lettuce and a square of tomato. 16.50 for some white bread and some lettuce in a box.

I’ve had the coffee here before and think it’s amazing, today I also ordered the Ruben toasted sandwich, it was average, however the beautiful outdoor setting made up for it. I sat under the shade of the tree and enjoying the buzz of Brighton Le Sands. Overall a very friendly and fun cafe in a great location.

An impromptu working brunch led us to seek a table behind the pickets in the sun. A variety of sandwiches, pastries, juices and hot beverages consumed to general satisfaction of all (8 pax). One party member did suggest the pastrami sandwich could be improved by adding an additional (and sweeter) variety of pig. All in all a great meal.

If you’re one for freedom of choice and healthy eats, this one is for you! After my usual visits to the beach, I always strolled past this beautiful colourful cafe and finally did it, I stopped and ate here with pride!Ordered a unique salad mix of Edamame, and some other green things that I’ve never heard of/font recall with Lamb as my protein.I was surprised with the large serving (a good thing for the $17 price). It was presented in a funky tin and a recycled wooden fork. The edamame salad mix gave a great zing to it with the help of a vinegarette dressing. The lamb was freshly cooked and pulled which made it easier for me to enjoy with simply a fork and no knife. The edamame salad had the strongest hold in flavour compared to everything else in the tin which made it enjoyable for me to mix with different foods and work out what works best together. Ended up mixing everything together anyway hahaWater is complimentary and self served here. I like the little decorations around the cafe e.g. vintage yellow bicycle, the parrot clinging on to the coffee machien and the wooden crates of fruit hanging on the walls behind the counter. I had a young female serve me at the counter and she was very nice which is a bonus. I’m certainly returning here and trying out more of their menu. They also do acai! 🙂
