Came here to get a Red Duck Curry ($16.9) takeaway after seeing most of the tables occupied. Service was friendly and it was around a 15minute wait. The curry came out hot and was filled to the top. It had a generous amount of chicken as well as vegetables and was overall really delicious.
Bad customer service, the food is not worth the price especially papaya salad. Worst papaya salad ever. Been here once and i dont think i would ever comeback.
Worst thai restaurant I ever been to!!!!! The taste is not original, all the dishes we order are so disappointed especially the papaya salad. Will never be back here!
While the food was very tasty, it is clear that they use msg in their food. Had major thirst and nightmares after eating the red curry! Will never eat their food again.
Decent Thai restaurant where the food is authentic. Their lunch menu has a good variety and reasonably priced. We had the stir fry with peanut sauce which was a tad sweet while the stir fry in chilli basil sauce was spicy.Tried the spicy Thai fried rice too which was good. They servers were really nice and actually quite informed about the food. They actually informed us that in the green curry was fish sauce if we would still like to order it.Plus were happy to give me the fried rice without egg. Place also had quite a few vegetarian dishes. Overall pleasant lunch experience.
We have eaten here many times before, but last night they were outstanding! I was boring and ordered the Chicken pad-thai and my partner ordered the Roast Duck Curry. After living many years in Newtown you get to know good thai food, well in Sydney anyway. The Pad thai was amazing, nice chargrill falvour on the chicken, great presentation with a huge pile of nuts on the side. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the didn’t stick together and the flavour, whoa, it was the biz. they even popped a prawn in there, This shows the love. That’s right love went into this dish and it didn’t go unnoticed. Then I eyed my wife’s duck curry. First I spotted the lychees, then the pineapple and then the duck. Oh succulent duck, you didnt disappoint. We didn’t need and starters or sides, plenty of food. Felt quite full as I walked out. Thai is better when you eat in.
All in all a good Thai restaurant offering decent meals and good prices. Service is always efficient and friendly and they now take eftpos which makes it much easier. Better than the more expensive Thai options on the beach
