I have a passion for Asian food, which is genuine and not washed down for lack of spice. I found Thai by The Beach to be particularly amazing for a local Thai eatery. My favourites are the Pineapple fried rice, the ‘hong mok’ – a coconut filled with seafood, the prawn green curry and anything else really. I’ve never had a bad dish there. I think they hit the spot, and that with any meal you should try their coconut rice. Cocktails are delicious too.

We came here for Sunday lunch, 2 vegetarians and 2 omnivores. We shared the royal tofu, spring rolls and curry puffs for entree which were delicious! Hubby declared it the best spring rolls he’s ever tasted! We then had vegetable and tofu yellow curry, stir fried veg with peanut sauce, pineapple fried rice and duck red curry. Everything was so flavourful and moreish. service was friendly and quick. definitely reccomend this for amazing Thai food.

Thai by the Beach is at a great location in the heart of Brighton Le Sands and a great lunch stop if youre in the area for a swim or to do the beautiful walk from Kyeemagh down to Sans Souci (highly recommend the walk!). However, its not a cheap Thai restaurant (ah the uni student days when I frequented Newtown Thai restaurants for $6 a lunch) so you should set your expectations as such. That said, Thai by the Beach is often selling vouchers on Cudo / LivingSocial so you could always keep an eye out for that. The food quality is great. Ive had a number of dishes there and my favourite to date is a lunch special entree deep fried fish fillets in lettuce cups with a beautiful beautiful Thai lime chilli dressing. That dressing makes the whole dish and the fish itself is not oily or greasy so the whole dish is really rather light. The grilled seafood platter is also superb. There is a generous serving of mussels, shrimps, king prawns, and squid for $30.90 so with a side dish or an entree dish, could be shared between two. The dipping sauce that the platter is served with is out of this world and takes me right back to my recent trip in Thailand where I consumed copious amounts of grilled seafood.Full review at imhangry.net/2018/04/12/thai-by-the-beach-brighton-le-sands/

Good food with a good viewVisited this place with my in laws. The food was great and the atmosphere made it even better because of the view. You have the view of Sydney airport and the beautiful Brighton Le Sands strip. If visited at nights, the walls are opened and there is a open space feeling which brings in a great breeze. The food is delicious and fresh. Well presented and quick service.

Great Thai restaurant at Brighton-Le-Sands and we have a good view looking at the beach. Our favourite dishes are includes: crispy barramundi with tamarind sauce, soft shell crab with apple salad and prawn pad thai. For children, they love the chicken wing till we ordered 3 servings. Service was good too but food a bit slow though. It was quite busy at that time but we still forgive them because the food was good.
