Following, a letter sent, quite some days ago, to the manager of the establishment, which has met, even more disappointingly, with no reply.Since moving to the area a couple of years ago, my partner and I have frequented ‘the Brooky’, ostensibly for meals. For a long time, we enjoyed and appreciated both the reliable quality and value reflected in both the former cook-your-own steak and a la carte options. Since the renovations have taken place, however, we’ve noted a steep decline in both quality and value. For example, the last two steak dinners we’ve had (in one case, eye fillet and, in the other, sirloin) have incorporated poor produce (fatty, gristly, untrimmed meat), poorly cooked and presented.Is this the misshape of things to come?

This place sucks. I dislike the atmosphere at the pub it is dark and dingy and the music is to loud they have now increased all there prices but decreased the amount of food you get I also do not like standing at the bar and looking at the girl in the black shirt and her not being able to serve me I have witnessed her being told not to serve me after i left the bar a couple of times all in all this place has gone down hill in the last 3 years From somebody who used to love coming
Stay away from holding your function or party there.!! never seen a bouncer loose control like that before wanting to punch out guests from a 50th birthday. They also made the DJ stop in the middle of a song at exactly 11:30pm.
A good hotel which sets high standards for service of food and drinks. Hard to beat this pub. Definitely in the top five for the northern beaches.
Good cheap steak. $11 steak every day of the week! Have to cook it yourself but it’s no biggie, the steak is pretty good quality and they have tons of stuff to put on it by the grill. Also includes buffet style salad bar and if you’re a student a beer.Places like this are hard to find these days!
