I was walking past and I saw the special for a coffee and a egg and bacon muffin which sounded really good. The service was really friendly and the food was delicious, crispy bacon, a good egg lol and a really light crispy muffin. Yummmm hahaThe piccolo latte was excellent too. Reading the menu as I was eating I saw a chocolate thickshake and I saw the waitress w a old fashioned milkshake tin getting some ice cream out of the ice cream stand. Wow I thought, they must make their own ice cream. Yay!! HahahaBut alas, when I saw the same waitress making my take away chocolate thickshake w streets ice cream I was soooo disappointed. It wasn’t good. In fact It was really awful!! I shouldn’t have ordered it. It was only streets ice cream and milk!! I once refused to pay for a milkshake some time ago when someone tried that but today I was in a rush so I just accepted it. I rate the piccolo and the egg n bacon roll 5/5. The thickshake I’d rate a 1/5. And the straw for the thickshake was useless. I had to wait for the it to melt before I could drink it! I definitely recommend trying the coffee and the egg and bacon roll as they were yummy in my tummy hahaBut I’ve just reviewed my original rating of 4/5 as the thickshake was sooo bad!!
Simply delicious! Admittedly I was sceptical when I saw the name. Really? Best chocolate cake in the world? Well. It is pretty darn good. Light, with just the amount of ‘crisp’ from the meringue yet soft and melty in the mouth. Just the right balance of texture and flavour. I definitely prefer the bittersweet version. If it was a little bit darker (more bitter) it would be even more amazing!

Went to Petersham ( Divino Cafe ) listed on their website, Shop not even open for business. Drove to Brookvale, not easy finding the store. 2pm: Service by a lady on the counter, longest angry face and not friendly at all, too lazy to introduce any cake. Asia lady is more attentive and friendly, greeted with a smile.Now the cake. Is was SUPER SUPER SUPER SWEET. IT was the like having sugarcane Macaroon version cake. It was soft and sweet. Those who love sweet X 5 cake, this is the one. But if you like me prefer normal sweetness cake, skip this one. Trust me.
Big claim but I think they are right – the bittersweet chocolate cake is superb! And they also serve the best coffee in the mall!
