It’s affordable for the quality i.e $6.50 for a delicious, big and home cooked pie. Great variety and staff are adorable and friendly. Ample seating area omg why is there a character minimum?
Update 03/17: have since returned numerous times, still as good as my 1st visit4/5 score for a pie shop? Intrigued? Pies here anytime over Bourke st bakery even if they open next door. Nice to be acknowledged when they had a morning rush. Wonderful extra shot macchiato took some time, worth the wait. Have i mentioned how bloody good their pies are? Sure @ $7 a pop, they are not ordinarily cheap. Instead, they will leave you quite satisfied for breakfast/lunch and tempting you to share those pies for your loved ones. They do takeaways, makes your decision easy. If our mashed peas beef pie n butter chicken pie are any indication to the rest they have to offer, i will be back to sample the rest of their lovingly crafted pies. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
Excellent, tasty, gourmet pies. Loved the pastry. Too good to put sauce on. The owners seem real and interesting as can be seen by the wall paper of their travels. Genuine family run business that cares about the humble pie.
