I actually was really impressed with this place. I got the black angus steak and it was a great piece with no fat on it it. I love my gravy and the gravy was perfect!! Mash potato was bit stiff but other than that great food
The Brasserie restaurant located on the ground floor of Club Burwood offers bistro style dining with a menu that includes everything from burgers, grills, pizza and pasta to the obligatory schnitzel and seafood platter with a smattering of Asian dishes thrown in for good measure. Pricing is on par with most club restaurants and portion sizes are generous. Kids always enjoy the lasagna. On this particular occasion, the lamb roast was a bit dry but all the other meals were fine.
Outstanding quality food and value. For an RSL club, Club Burwood can’t be beat! For example tonight I had the roast lamb for $11 – I received six slices of tender lamb, roast veg (potato, pumpkin), beans and gravy. Amazing value and I was full afterward.
They look good, I’d really want to try it some day, I guess whenever I visit there I’m hitting you guys 😀 I just hope it’s all good when I come :p
Mediocre. Sky light is nice.It is fine if you can dodge the morons who do not have the mind or imagination to do anything else but hang off the POKIES.Prices are average, food average.Old geriatric crowd.Blue rinse set.Too old to rock and roll so must sit in pokie and throw money away.
Terrific Value for Money. I dined in the Club’s Restaurant and we found it terrific value for money. The all-you-can-eat buffet had a great selection, we started with cheese, olives & crackers, then had a plate of prawns, selection of meats, seafood, salads (there were pastas and Asian dishes also). This was followed by desert, which they had a good selection of, and coffees. All this for under $20 per head. Terrific ! Service was good, it is self-serve, however, the waiters are quick to remove dirty plates from our table. And the wine was very cheaply priced. We have since been back and tried the Cafe in the RSL which was also very well priced plus they have a great outdoor area to eat in, lovely on a sunny day.
