Grannys Noodle is one of the noodle restaurants I frequent in Burwood. My favourite is the Grannys signature beef noodle soup. I like to customise it with less oil and with added fresh chili.
We came to granny’s noodle for a quick dinner on a weekday. We chose the vegetarian sizzling plate loaded with tofu and some vegetarian dumplings.Ambiance: 5/10Granny’s Noodle is quite plain on the inside. There isn’t much decor, and the lighting is really quite bright too. It’s definite more a take-out/cheap eats sort of place.Service: 6/10Service was okay. The staff unfortunately wren’t well versed with English which made trying to order vegetarian food a little bit difficult, but we got there in the end.Menu: 8/10The menu covers a lot, and does a lot with soup, noodles, dumplings and sizzling plates too.Food: 7/10Food was decent, though I found the dumplings a little dough-y. I loved the hand-made rustic look they had. The tofu was quite good!Vale for Money: 9/10Definitely a bang for your buck! theminiaturelife.com
