Stack A Plate for under $8. This is one of those food court type places that let you stack as much as you can onto a plate for under $8.It’s always fun trying to ‘get your money’s worth’ by strategically stacking together spring rolls, chicken wings on a base of fried rice then gluing it all together with sticky Mongolian lamb, black-bean beef and satay chicken. If you’re clever and don’t mind the disapproving looks given by the staff as you balance your tower of food back to the table you can easily feed two people. It’s not high quality food, rather its the cheap and nasty low quality stuff you’ve come to expect from these types of restaurants eg empty spring rolls, overly battered wings and fish pieces, Mongolian lamb thickened with corn starch and overly salted to provide flavour and with all the good quality restaurants out on Burwood Road I would be inclined to give it the flick but if you have young kids you can’t beat a stack a plate challenge!
