I arrived at around 12:30 to find a mostly empty restaurant with more staff at work than customers. Promptly, I expected to be pampered.I ordered something along the lines of 85 skewers to be shared among 3 people (coming in at just over $110 which isn’t cheap) and there was plenty of variety. There were the classic beef/lamb skewers with cumin, squid, bread, boazi, chicken gizzard, chicken heart, chicken wings, intestines, tripe, and some very nice multi-textured potato skewers. The skewers were as good as any you’d get in China at a street-food vendor so it was extremely satisfying. Perfectly seasoned, excellent meat texture, and the fat distribution was just right on most skewers. One thing to note is that, if you arrive in the afternoon and you’re practically the only one in the restaurant, then your skewers are going to come out faster than you can eat them. What this meant for us was that the skewers would slightly overcook themselves by the time we reached them in our pile. Nevertheless, the fresh ones were excellent. Aim to eat a skewer within 2 minutes of it reaching your table! On a separate note, the service was fine since the waiter watched us like a hawk for lack of anything better to look at. Also, the water bottles for water-for-the-table were the kind that you could pour without any leakage (always something that impresses me to no end).Ending recommendation: Go early for lunch to avoid any crowds.

This restaurant is the worst BBQ restaurant in the world. Most of food are cold and the services are terrible. The prawn is not fresh. They didn’t turn on the gas for us and they don’t have any hot water for customers. The cup still have some oil in it. The stir fry noodles is quite salty.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant intrigued by the idea of having the food bbq-ed in front of you however, we very quickly came to realise this was not the case and the staff’s lacked attention to detail. We ordered a whole range of skewers, which eventually came but for the price, they are very small serving. The skewers come out cooked and they’re supposed to be kept warm on the grill but our grill was not even lit. Secondly, the portions of the meat are so small they dont even touch the surface as the sticks rest on the elevated side of the edge. The food was okay, not good enough for me to want to come back. Not all of the food we ordered ever arrived so we made sure for them not to charge us for us on our way out. Overall a good idea, but very poorly executed.

This restaurant is absolutely shocking! Food was expensive for a couple of pieces of lamb fat on a stick. Staff were quite polite and attentive but the owner was so rude and abrupt. The menu translation was terrible. Some of the dishes didnt even have translation at all. If you cant read Chinese you are ordering blindly. The receipt is also in Chinese so you dont know if your getting ripped off or not. Terrible terrible restaurant. Never stepping foot in there again and wont be recommending that place to anyone. The owner really needs to learn some manners and learn how to speak to ppl. Not only is his rude to his customers but extremely rude to his staff. Disgusting!

It’s easy to find when you see the 3 smiling faces on the wall It’s hard for people who can’t read Chinese to come. The menu is mainly Chinese and while there is English translations it’s not on all items The best is the first chicken wings on the list (the garlic one doesn’t compare) it’s just so so good The chicks heart was my next fav though there is only 4 pieces it’s only 2 whole hearts The noodles tasted that much better than other places but it’s oily The scallops were nice only because the garlic made it taste better The fried bread had a bit of sugar on it but that’s all They had this special bread which was nice but I’m not sure what they put on it The meats like chicken and lamb were ok and so was the squid The 10 skewer lamb deal, the pieces are smaller than what you would get of you bought them individually But they are on metal skewers so it burnt my lips by accident Fried rice comes out pyramid shape and it’s standard stuff While I did enjoy my meal it’s actually expensive for what you get, portion sizes are small (apart from the noodles)

The ambience of the restaurant is good. Good place to hang out with friends. This place is also good for couples. Taste of food is good. Price is reasonable. However, portion is not enough. Another issue I faced was English. Not all the waitresses were able to speak English. There was only one at that time who could speak and understand English. Even she missed one order. I ordered BBQ of shrimp she did not get it. I had to ask them again while I got all food but shrimp. Half an hour after getting all other food I got it.

This was my second visit as I have forgotten how good/bad my first visit. In term of anything BBQ, this is probably one of the worst I have visited. Don’t get me wrong, the ambience is actually very nice and I quite like it but the BBQ meats are just not up to my standard. We ordered few like lamb skewers, chicken wings, fried noodles and some cold dishes. Cold dishes tasted ok but BBQ are just terrible. The lamb skewers are just so chewy and I had to spit most of them out.The fried noodles were just too overwhelmingly salty. By few hours after dinner, I was so thirsty and this continue through the night, not sure if it’s MSG overdose. The place seem pretty crowded though with all Asians patron.Give it a try and let me know if you have different dining experience.
