A tasty, cheap Asian eatery in Burwood. This is a famous chain from China, Ive not been to the original but I think this one is decent. The specialty ate the pan fried shen jian bao which are crunchy on the outside and soft and soupy inside which delicious juicy meat. The soup dishes were ok, I would probably stick to their speciality dumplings and bun/baos. The spring onion pancake was the other standout, one of the better ones Ive eaten. Worth a visit.
Highly recommended!!!Delicious food with reasonable price. We also got their home-made iced lemon tea and soy bean milk which were yum as well. Will come back to try other dishes
I look forward to snacking on these every time I head to Burwood. My favorite is the pork and chives dumplings. The new wanton with peanut butter sauce and chili oil is great too! theengineereats.com
Nice pork buns and wontons! We went there coz of their outside tables- not many Chinese restaurants have outdoor seatings for dogs. My fav was the tofu with pork floss. Surely will be back!
Dumpling ninja! One of my favourite place for dumplings, or shall I say Yang’s pan fried buns. Thin dough with flavourful fillings, definitely my go to dumpling place. asianfoodninja.com
A small joint featuring numerous choices for dumplings, we were greeted w dumpling workers pumping out fresh, hand-made dumplings for impatient patrons We ordered pork and vege pan-fried dumplings , wonton dumplings and mushroom dumplings .Pretty satisfying, one gripe is you have to pay for dipping sauces.
Service is prompt and some of the dumplings are nice. I like the steamed prawn dumplings and soup dumplings. Not a big fan for the soup wontons (filling to wrapper ratio too small) and pan fried pork dumplings.
