I don’t think Byron Bay serves a bad breakfast. This place turns out good, honest dishes with a minimum of fuss. My smashed avo with feta and poached egg was great and I had food envy over my friend’s Moroccan eggs with thick Turkish bread. The coffee is good too. This place is also much less busy than other places in Byron and therefore a good option if you have kids or a desire to not have four diners squished onto a table for two.
Cosy cafe 🙂 Had the mushroom, spinach and goats cheese on toast- so tasty! Staff were super helpful too, would definitely come back when in Byron 🙂
Great find for lunch. Mezze menu was full of choice and the food was cooked to perfection. A prawn chermoula and vegetable roulade were enough for lunch and the spinach ricotta borek had the perfect mix of spinach and ricotta for the S.O.
Think it changed hands?. Came back after good breakfest memories of 5 years ago. Unfortunately gone down hill, coffee not as rich and full flavoured. Dishes unimaginative and dull.
I think the chef marinates everything in butter. Even my tomato was coated in melted butter.
