Overpriced for the quality of food but nice ambience inside. Service very poor. We went Easter Saturday night so there was a 15% surcharge, but even without the surcharge my penne pasta dish was priced at $32 and it was very disappointing. The sauce was lacking substance and I thought at that price the pasta would’ve been the fresh variety not the dried stuff that costs 99c a packet.
Always an amazing experience! The food is to die for (every time, over many years!) and I was lucky enough to be proposed to here, so it will always hold a special place in my heart! The food, service, ambiance and cocktails are all so brilliant! Worth booking in days in advance if you’re travelling up for the weekend!
OBSESSED with this place and that’s coming from some pretty harsh Italian gals! Had the Burrata to start which was hands down some of the most amazing cheese I have ever eaten, coupled with crisp fresh tomatoes. Definitely a must for your meal. We then had the lamb lasagna which I will be dreaming about every time I’m in need of some comfort food; delicious, melt in your mouth lamb in layers of delicious pasta, tasty sauce and beautiful bechamel. You cannot go wrong with this choice. Also the fish of the day which was barramundi. How to describe this dish? Rich in flavour, fresh and filling – the three F’s that any meal needs! Anyone visiting Byron Bay needs to make a stop here and eat, you will not be disappointed!
Had dinner there with 9 adults and 3 toddlers. The venue and staff accommodated us perfectly. The food was fantastic. The children’s tomato pasta was the perfect blend of well cooked baby tomatos and garlic. Our kids (and parents) loved it. The lasagna was fantastic as was the beef cheek mushroom penne.
