You have to give The Mez Club credit for beautiful ambience. I feel transported to the Mediterranean just by walking into it. It has the added bonus of a late night happy hour, with real drinks, not watered down cocktails. So it is a real shame not the same effort was put into the food. The menu looks fine, but the flavours were lacking. Let me be clear that the food is not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but not wow. In fact because I was wowed by the ambience and the cocktail and to a smaller extent by the lovely attentive service, the food was a let down.
I love the Mez Club. I know it gets super busy and it can be annoying to get a table at times but with the mez club l don’t mind. I love the whole vibe at this place. The drinks are great and so is the food. If you can’t get a table, they take your details and message you when your table is ready. Service is great too.
Great little hidden gem in Byron! Our second fave so far. Food is terrific just by itself, plus price is very reasonable compared to other places in town. The internal decor is also quite enjoyable.Overall, will def return for both food and ambience.
