Refined pub food with an extra $10 added to main items.The service was poor as the waitress was not actively watching the floor. The waitress served our cold coffee spilt over our saucers. She didn’t even bother cleaning it or apologising for it.Won’t be going there again.
We decided to have lunch here at the weekend while having a Sunday drive out as it got decent reviews. Being in Bangalow I couldn’t go past some local pork and ordered the Pork Belly, my wife had the chicken curry. Service was OK and the food didn’t take too long to arrive, my pork belly looked really good but unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations, it was OK but given Bangalow is famous for it’s pork I was expecting more, it just wasn’t as tender or as tasty as it could have been, it was an expensive dish too. The chicken curry on the other than was excellent and much cheaper (from the pub menu).There are now so many choices for great food in Bangalow I probably won’t be returning for a while.
Nice setting ruined by terrible staff. The food was ok but the 2 staff members that we came across were horrible. The restaurant and bar are run as seperate businesses so when you want to order drinks for the table, you have to go and order and pay separately. The guy behind the bar was one of the rudest people I have come across. He knew that we were from out of town and his attitude was terrible. There were locals in the restaurant yelling at passing trucks to use the highway at the top of their voices. The waitress was trying to be smart and funny but just came off as rude and irritating. There are so many other options in the area that i would give this place a miss.
