Staff: friendly, warm and welcome Service: self serve basically Ambience: beautiful scenery, nice chilled music, under cover. Environmentally conscious cutlery and crockery. Food: great flavours, fresh, homemade, nothing artificial, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free options. 10/10 food.
Love love love this place. It’s well worth $22 for adult entry. Peaceful, calm and beautiful. A rare treasure in a wonderful place. You’ll see the largest amethyst crystal on display in the world. There’s also large smoky Quartz, clear Quartz, and grounds filled with rose quartz and smaller (but still quite large)!amethyst geodes. There’s a huge sitting budda in a quite spot where you could sit and meditate all day. You can buy your own smaller versions of semi precious stones from the gift shop along with anything healing and anything for peaceful tranquil living. There is a cafe with a limited choice and good coffee. I love the way they are fully sustainable and even the knives and forks can be recycled. Try the massage chairs just inside the cafe for a gold coin they are fantastic. You could easily spend all day here and if you check their website before you go you will find there are sessions on meditation, healing, readings, chakra etc throughout the day so time your visit for those they are included in the entry price. This is a truly unique place to visit and one you’ll remember.
The cafe itself has a great energy and vibe to it and it overlooks the valley with giant crystals to see on the gardens, very relaxing. The food is pretty standard cafe fair, heat and eats from the cabinet and a few specials which they stop serving at 3pm so be careful if you are drop qld at the moment with daylight savings. It is a little overpriced due to its location and after spending $16 to get in, $26 for a standard lunch is a rip off (rice noodles, greens and chicken/tofu). They forgot my friends meal so we waited a very long time and seemed to have no sense of urgency when they realised either even though they apologized which we appreciated at least. The staff seemed a little distant and hazy. I recommend bringing a picnic and exploring the gardens, they are beautiful.
The Cafe itself is located within the grounds of the Crystal Castle and offers a range of home made fare aswell as boasting a magnificent view of the Tweed Valley. There’s also free WiFi for those in need of a data fix. Recommended.
