MerakiI Bistro. I went to the restaurant with my Elderly parents and sister tonight and left feeling disgusted. A dark haired waitress was so rude to us throughout the night. We were placed in front of an air conditioner and my 85 year old mother was freezing . After numerous requests to have the air conditioner turned off or the temp made warmer , the waitress refused to listen us. She told us lvarious stories stating why she could not attend to our request ranging from the air conditioner can’t be turned off, to yes I can increase it up a little , to I have now put it up to 26 degrees stop your complaining. In the end after numerous to see the owner, Dino , she finally turned it off. We were able to sit down and finally enjoy our meal. However through the meal, this waitress turned the air conditioner on again and walked past our table smirking to another wAitress. We ate and then had to quickly leave as by this my mother was freezing cold and needed to get warm. I left this restaurant feeling disappointed at the rudeness and belligerent behaviour of this waitress . I not sure why any wItress would not like to ensure their customers are listened to. Shame ! Hopefully my elderly Mum does not get sick because of the discomfort and cold that not she felt but our whole family! Shame ! Shame! Shame!
Meraki Ocean Shores. Although I have eaten at the Meraki about 6 times now I am continually disappointed to the lack of attention to detail, you know the little things that make the difference. Such as warm meals, steaks overcooked, fish overcooked, warm soggy chips, orders overlooked or lost, inconsistent service to name the most common. It is a shame as the value for money is quite good. I hope these things can be improved as this place could serve up good club food.
