A windy but beautiful day at the farm requires a hearty meal and a take home treat.I ordered the Spanner Crab Scramble (with papaya + bean shoot salad and homemade Sriracha + sourdough toast). You can definitely taste the freshness and smell the farm to table fragrance. It smelt and tasted AMAZING. The Sriracha wasn’t too overpowering to take attention away from the crab. I also ordered a slice of macadamia cheesecake (not pictured) which is a must try.Back home in Melbourne and I use the chilli salt for everything! Especially to dip Green Mango and Pineapples.

Beautiful location and grounds are very well maintained. Busy for a Monday late morning which meant a short wait for a table. However, they take your name and number and send an SMS when ready so it gives you time to wander through the grounds. Beautiful simple interior with a focus on natural materials. Fantastic outdoor seating to really soak up the environment. Took a while for our order to be taken but the food arrived super quick. Fresh ingredients and nice flavours in the food. Great coffee!

The host was difficult to communicate with, being continually directed as to what they would prefer rather than meeting our booking request really was disrespectful. It seems that there are many rules in the management of this restaurant. Perhaps the restaurant is too big for them to manage adequately, especially with the pricing of the meals. Minimum $100 for 2 for lunch (1 course + drink), one would expect a higher level of service. The setting is nice in a farm environment, but it really does feel just like a cash grab rather than representing the values on their sign board at the front. As for the meals, coffee was good although it had much more than 1 tsp sugar requested. The lunch fish was mackerel and it was quality fish with sauces and vegetables etc, however the fish was undercooked in some areas. Not to mention the slow arrival of the meals after ordering. Overall a below average experience with an above average price tag. 2 stars

An amazing place to pick up the Bread Social treats. I’d recommend popping in to grab a takeaway coffee and some pastries for breakfast in one of the surrounding hotels or resorts.
