So we did what the locals do in Cabramatta (slightly). We looked for a local bakery and blindly tried out some pastries! The first one on our list was Tiem Banh A One Cake Shop right accross the train station. We tried the two items below: Mini Wife’s Cake – a flaky pastry filled with winter melon, almond paste and sesame. If you hate sugar but love flaky crust then you can probably give this one a try. Not too sweet but super filling. Red Bean Cake with Salted Egg – you guessed it! Another flaky crusted pastry filled with your usual Asian flavour. I did expect this to be a bit on the salty side but surprisingly not. Seems like there was not enough salted eggs.
