Walked past Comebuy in Cabramatta and saw these SpongeBob SquarePants traditional Taiwanese cake aka sponge cake – they are so cute! Couldn’t resist getting some to try. Unfortunately they didn’t taste as good as I’d imagined, quite bland. Good to have a try though theengineereats.com
Purchased a large Passion Blast today which usually comes with three toppings, pearls, coconut jelly and lychee jelly for $5, however I only wanted it with lychee jelly and pearls. Unfortunately they said they ran out of pearls, so I asked for herbal jelly instead but they said they would charge me extra 50c, which is ridiculous because the drink is suppose to come with pearls and it’s not my fault they ran out of pearls, so why is the extra charge neccessary? I ask them this and they said the herbal jelly serving is already in the cup.. which makes no sense cos they could just easily scoop out some of the herbal jelly. I know its only 50c but, if they ran out of the topping that was suppose to come with the drink itself then at least ask if I would like to replace it with another topping without an extra charge. Definitely never coming back to this comeby.

The drink was so juicy and the flavour great. Definitely going to come here from now on if it’s within the area!Service was good and we got a 10% discount which was even better. Recommend this more than chatime.
Went here because I really wanted the Taiwanese cakes. They were cheap – only $4 for 6. Watch them cook in the waffle maker and they come out hot! In little shapes like Spongebob! The waitstaff were nice enough, not necessarily loving their job. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
The lychee drink was nice and sweet but the lychee jelly was rubbery and didn’t have much taste. The main reason you come here is the eggettes which is another version of a waffle and the coconut is the best. Prices are reasonable and there is limited seating inside,try the eggette for something different
