Not bad. But not worth the trip unless youre there to gamble afterwards (which isnt worth it anyway so… ). A few notes:- You can find better pho in Cabramatta. The rice noodles they use here dont taste fresh. They taste like dried noodles that have been soaked but werent brought back to life properly. Theres something off about them and it ruins the dish.- You can also find better BBQ dishes at Cabramatta. For the price you pay here, you get tiny servings. Tiny, mostly unimpressive servings (I say mostly here, because the roast pork belly is an exception).- Theres not much going on in the sweet and sour pork dish except maybe a hell of a lot of onions, pineapple and capsicum trying to make the dish look more filling than it actually is. In other words, theres not much pork. On a positive note, however, they do get the sweet and sour balance right and theres not too much batter. Although, do be careful as I did come across a small bone in one of the pork pieces I bit into.- The bread place isnt anything special. Its just another Asian bakery franchise like Breadtop/85c so dont expect anything too spectacular. If you do plan on buying something from there, however, a piece of advice: itll taste much better if you warm it up in the microwave a bit before you eat it… so take it home for a treat later on. Of course, this only applies to soft bread.

Within district 8, hides a Chinese seafood restaurant called the Horizon. Its a new restaurant with great food and service! I loved their barramundi wings stir fried with XO sauce. It was crunchy, spicy, hot and everything you wish for! Their homemade tofu was also a plus! Something unexpected when the seaweed on top added heaps of flavour!Another top dish was the stir fried coral trout with beans. Even though it was little too salty for my liking, it was the top dish between my family. Will definitely come back!

Ever since Jenmy in Fairfield closed down I haven’t been able to find another Chinese place that was just as good.Until we visited District 8 in Cabravale.O.M.G. I just LOVE the food here and what’s even better is that they have an area that serves milk teas as well!Ticking all of the boxes so far.The only downside is having to pick up your food from different sections so you could be waiting 15 minutes between each meal but once you taste the food it’s all forgotten about. Also with the tea area, if you’re ordering more than one thing, make sure you make it clear as I ordered two drinks and only got one. The receipt wasn’t very clear so had to go back and order about.Other than that, the drinks were super flavoursome.Definitely one to visit!
