Probably the best yum cha place Ive ever been to ! I know thats debatable for the cabra areas but after trying all the other places, this is by far the best for me. They dont have much of the usual desserts but the food itself is so fresh and authentic. The service is super friendly and YES there will be a line if you decide to go on weekends for brunch . Nothing to fault with quality here and it has become my go to yumcha location.

I really liked this place but today I found a hair inside the dumpling. The hair wasnt even out side it was inside the dumpling skin. I made an order via Uber eats delivery was early but the hair turned me off everything, $100 dollar worth of orders wasted. I hope their hygiene levels change

Pretty average nothing special went here for lunch for two. Soon as we sat down the lady brought food which felt like she was forcing us to eat maybe because it was leftover or old food. Looked at the menu ordered prawn dumplings and fried rice. It seemed strange that the menu has no prices whatsoever. I went to pay and the bill was $80 which is way overpriced for the food ordered. This would explain why prices arent shown which i feel is a dirty trick to get people to pay more. Overall next time I’d rather eat somewhere else. First and last for me.

Decided to give Fortune8 a go as it is considered a local secret if youre after some cheap Yum Cha without having to wait a long time for a table as it is hidden within a plaza. As soon as you are seated, waiters and waitresses are already at your table asking if you want the delicious dishes they have in front of you. Overall, food was decent, service was exceptional!

Food : AmazingService : Amazing I think Im biased when I say this is the best Yum Cha restaurant Ive ever been to because I grew up going here. In all honesty though, it has very delicious food. Most of their dishes are hand made and freshly cooked which is what I love. The service is great with loving, funny staff members.

I prefer Fortune 8 over the endless queue from Vinh Phat for yum cha. This restaurant always makes me feel at home by friendly staff. I got a table instantly even though it was a Saturday morning. Instead of pushing food cart around, the ladies there will carry tiny trays offering yummy dishes with brief explanation. If you’d like to order something of your choice, ask for the menu or just tell any staff who walks pass you. The food quality was good but some of the dishes quickly turned cold once they landed our table. The quantity, as expected, is up to yum cha standard. There is young lad (I presume the owner’s daughter) who attentively refills the chilly sauce whenever someone nearly finishes their dipping portion. Please don’t take multiple servings for the same dish. Try it among your table first. I witness a Westerner table getting full after taking 4 serving of sticky rice. They did not look very enjoyable.
