Do not recommend this restaurant at all! I found a hair in my soup and when I asked for a new bowl they tried to justify it by saying it was stuck to the frozen chicken and showed it to me from the freezer. However I had ordered a beef soup? We payed for one bowl and I refused to pay for my food… they tried to make us pay for the both untouched bowls. Went to another pho place in Cabramatta and had a much better experience. Would never come back here!
We ordered special beef pho and spicy pho. The broth was more on the savoury side which I prefer and we were persuaded to get another bowl even though that wasn’t our intention. There were lots of innards in the special pho which my friend liked. He said it was really good and he is the pho expert so I’ll go with his opinion. They were blasting Vietnamese music too if you like that. I didn’t mind. only thing is they don’t understand English very well so you better say the number and make sure they understand or else you get the wrong order.
This place makes decent pho. Fairly new and seemingly buzzing with patrons during weekend lunch times its managed to build a following amongst a highly competitive and over supply of pho eateries around cabramatta. The pho is generous with meat and portion size however too salty for my palate. Always left feeling parched which to my hyper sensitive palate indicates MSG and salt. Not bad, but not the best.
Tried Pho Saigon for lunch on Sunday totally packed had to wait around 20 minutes for a table we had Pho and Bun Bo Hue which both had great flavour Certainly explains why people were queuing up.
This place replaced the $9 pho goc, which was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, this new eatery had some good beef bowls as well. Grabbed the small pho tai (rare beef) for $11. Lots of beef! Sure to fill you up. Happy to come again.
