Came here with family to try out the seafood and although it wasnt amazing I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit of a hit and miss here. Its not the best seafood Chinese Vietnamese restaurant in the area but it sort of reminds you of home styled cooking. We ordered:- steamed live silver perch: decently sized fish and well made. A little too much shallots on top but great taste overall.- vermicelli crab: this was pretty tasty however was super salty. If there was less salt Id say this dish was pretty good! – scallops with garlic sauce: scallops definitely were not fresh and tasted a little weird (almost like they were rubbery – but not like overcooked rubbery). Sauce was pretty standard – seemed like they also used garlic paste to make this. Overall, despite the 3 star rating, the food was quite value for money. We ended up spending less than $120 for everything (what a bargain for some fresh seafood!) This was thanks to my mums friend who had a membership which gives you a good discount on the food. When Im broke and need a seafood fix, Ill certainly be back.
