Gu chai kuih – Teochew garlic chive steamed dumplings. Box of 5 for $4.50 makes for a decent lunch. Definitely ask for chilli sauce on the side (it’s free)it’s spicy, a little salty and a little sour and absolutely elevates the dumplings. The dumplings are filled with a reasonable amount of chopped garlic chives; my only gripe is that the skins are a bit thick.
