Pub grub goes upmarket!Couldn’t fault the food. Reasonably priced & great service. The BBQ Bourbon Beef Brisket was flavourful. The sticky date pudding to die for.
Usually a pretty reliable feed from Camden Hotel, unfortunately this time they forgot our entrees and had to tell them that they had done so. Regardless of the fact, I myself ordered chicken schnitzel with gravy, chips and salad. The chicken schnitzel was fairly small but tasted pretty good, and the salad had excessive balsamic vinegar dressing which made it almost unedible. The fries were crispy and tasty, however. I won’t let this affect my view of the hotel as I’ve had plenty of great meals before, the fajitas are very good as is the salad. My dad loved his meal which was the ocean barramundi on veges and pea pure. Balanced flavours and good portion size. The hotel itself is good and there were plenty of people eating in bistro section of this pub on the night we were there. aroundtheclockfoodie.com
We have been here a number of times being reasonably local. However last night was lacking a little bit, the kids sausage was still red in the middle.The waitstaff also need a bit more training. Otherwise the food is generally great!
Outstanding…. It’s been a while since I’ve felt compelled to write a review, but with a recent trip to CH it was one worthy of note.Fresh veggies, perfectly cooked fries and an amazing Mexican Parmagana.There were 5 styles to choose from, so I was quite excited to have chosen one that I cannot help but review. I love Tuesdays! I wish i could upload a photo of one the the nicest steak and vegies (and chips) meals Ive found at superb value to boot. Fast service, great beers on tap, warm vibrant atmosphere and is extremely well catered for all ages. Lounges, Plazma TV’s and a formal dining area also.
Love the $12 steak, chips and salad… I think cheap Tuesday night. Is available every night but not at that price. Cooked to perfection.
