We have eaten here many times. Food is always great, beer garden is a great place to hang out and enjoy the afternoon with a plate of food and a colddrink. It can get pretty packed so you may not get a table, they also have a great park for the kids and face painters etc.We have also been to a wedding here, and the food was really good, and the wedding set up was beautiful.
Awesome ambience and excellent outdoor seating. Food was great which I had their King burger which was voted the best pub burger in Sydney last 2015. Definitely try this joint!
It really is beautiful here. Whether you’re sipping back a couple of beverages on a lazy Sunday afternoon in the beer garden, or celebrating a birthday in the intimate indoor setting, Camden Valley Inn suits a myriad of occasions. I came here for a light lunch and ordered the prawn salad, at $19 it was quite steep (compared to the size) but was definitely tasty, so I can look past that. The side of chips were crunchy with the right amount of salt, just not hot/fresh as I would have hoped. I’ll still be back nonetheless, the location makes it a true gem of Camden and staff are lovely.
Lovely outdoor seating area in the garden for a brunch or lunch if it’s a nice sunny day. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The burgers are quite good.
Went for a Sunday Drive. Warned place was not so hot. Most pleasant. Kitchen busy. 20 minute wait to order, 40 minute wait for a steak. A perfect day out.
Let me start this review with a strong recommendation to choose this restaurant for your next meal! – The venue was beautiful: space plentiful both indoor and outdoors. The atmosphere was very warm and comfortable, with a Chesterfield lounge suite accompanying the main dining area. These couches sat next to a large fire place which I imagine would be wonderful to sit next to on a nice cold winters night. The thing that surprised us was the versatility of the venue. It had both a beautiful outdoor garden, perfect for any wedding reception, but also had a warm bar feel to the inside dining area. – Food: My two friends and myself had the Chicken Parmigana, a true connoisseur’s choice. We all agreed that it was an average Parmigana. The cheese wasn’t entirely melted and there’s wasn’t near enough sauce. In saying that, we’d still give it a 6.5/10. It was served however, with a fresh, and enjoyably well dressed, garden salad. If you find yourself in the Camden area, this is certainly the place to be, regardless of the drive to get to it. If for dinner or for casual drinks, or even for a large, classy event, this venue is the one to visit. We’re from Melbourne, and if we find ourselves in the area again, this place is number one on our list.
No flavour at all, Caesar salad with burnt chargrilled chicken…looked ok but not very much flavour. More care should be taken when cooking children’s meals, ensure meat cooked properly.13 Aug, 2014Burnt undercooked beef burger. Undercooked, raw beef in the middle. Requested refund. Not happy they served this to a child.
